Home Visits

first_aid_bagHome visits are at the discretion of the Doctor.  Please only ask for a home visit if you are genuinely unable to come to the Surgery due to a medical problem.  Home visits are for those who are housebound or too ill to travel.  Otherwise please try to come to one of the surgeries.

If you require a home visit, please telephone before 10.00am, if possible, giving details of your problem, if asked to do so.  This allows the Doctor to know how urgent the problem is and helps in the planning of the Doctor's rounds, with the most urgent cases as a priority.

Urgent visits can be obtained, when medically necessary, by calling the Surgery.  One of the Doctors will attend as soon as possible, but it may not be your usual Doctor.
