Carers

Do you help to look after someone at home?

If you are a carer, there are thousands of ordinary people just like you across Forth Valley who look after someone who cannot manage on their own.  Carers are a central part of the Health & Community Care System.

In recognition of this, NHS Forth Valley want to make sure that carers know where they can get information and support to carry out this vital role.  If you help to look after someone, we want to help you.

If you are a carer and wish help or support you can contact your GP who will refer you to the Stirling Carers Centre, or ask at reception for a self–referral form, or contact the Centre directly 01786 447003.  Annual Carers Health and Wellbeing checks are also run at the practice by the practice nurse Linda Keay and appointments for these can be made by contacting the surgery.
